Maine and New England. I began painting
in watercolor, and eventually expanded into oil painting. Most
all my work today is in oils, as I find it a more expressive
medium, and more workable while painting outdoors.
I paint scenes that have special
meaning to me - a lobster boat beached at Mackeral Cove on Bailey
Island, or lawn chairs set out on the a crisp Monhegan morning.
I most enjoy painting quintessential Maine scenes,
that express the quiet simplicity of our lifestyle. I find color
to be my greatest inspiration, and morning and evening light
most compelling.
Our gallery is open 11 AM - 5 PM,
